Nursery School Lunch Bunch
Need a few extra hours in your day? (Who doesn’t!) With our optional and flexible Lunch Bunch program, children spend a little extra time with us so that you can run errands, get to an appointment, or even just take a little break!
Lunch Bunch starts on the first day of school for the 4’s and Pre-K classes and the second week of school for the 3’s classes. Register for Lunch Bunch using Sign-Up Genius. We do not offer same-day sign up, please sign-up by Friday of the prior week. Lunch Bunch is held from 11:30AM-3:00PM everyday. Parents can pick their children up at anytime during those hours. There is always one adult for every ten children.
Parent Tip: If your child is transitioning to full day Kindergarten next year, this is a good way to acclimate them to a longer school day.
Participating children should be at least three years old and completely potty trained.
Restrictions:
- As there are children in the school with nut allergies, we ask that no peanut butter or food containing nuts, including Nutella, be sent in lunches.
- Please do not send grapes, marshmallows, hot dogs or any items that may pose a choking risk.
- Please do not include candy or gum in your child’s lunch.
- We are unable to reheat food.
Please include payment in an envelope marked with your child’s name in your child’s lunchbox each time he or she stays. You can pay cash or by a check made payable to St. Matthew’s Nursery School. If your child stays on a regular basis and you would like to pay weekly, please speak with the Lunch Bunch coordinator.
