Hear the word of the Lord and be blessed by his unwavering love.
We are a vibrant and dedicated community of Christians worshiping and serving Jesus Christ. Our diverse parish family includes life-long Episcopalians, many who have joined from other denominations, and others who are new to the Christian faith.
The breadth of our Anglican tradition is expressed in our range of worship services: from our traditional language service, to a contemporary service with the Arise Band, and culminating with a service highlighting our rich heritage of organ and choral music. All of our Sunday services are anchored around the proclamation of God’s Word in Scripture and in the Holy Eucharist.
It is also important for us at St. Matthew’s to focus on building up one another in Christ, both those within our parish family and wider community. Opportunities for fellowship and growth abound. Care of those who cannot attend due to age or sickness is emphasized. Youth are upheld for the gifts they bring to our congregation. Outreach through our widely acclaimed nursery school, involvement in community programs, our Little Food Pantry, and relations with area religious organizations are some of the ways in which we express our love of God and our neighbor as ourselves.
