The annual celebration of our patron saint and community, St. Matthew’s Day, will be held on September 24, 2023 from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM. We look forward to seeing you at the festivities!
Community Ecumenical Luncheon
This annual event of the Wissahickon Faith Community is hosted this year by the Congregation Beth Or Sisterhood on June 6, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. All are invited and welcome! This year’s program topic is: Coming Together in a Divided World, presented by Rabbi Jason Bonder. For more details, please see the flyer on the bulletin board. Spring Fest 2023
Please join us on May 21st from 11:30 to 2:00 in celebration of warmer weather and for an opportunity to have our Church and Nursery School communities gather together.
The event will include good food and music, an inflatable slide and tball booth, face painting and other activities, as well as the Kona Ice Truck!

Jubilee Celebration & Open House
On March 2nd from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Bishop Gutiérrez will join us to celebrate our life and ministries here at St. Matthew’s. It will be a time of celebration and fellowship. The event will include supper, a brief message from the Bishop, and sharing St. Matthew’s impact on the lives of our parishioners and community.
All are invited to join our parish family on Tuesday, February 21st @ 6:00 PM in the Parish Hall for a festive Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper! Suggested offerings are $6 for children under ten years old, and $10 for adults and children over ten. Families with many individuals are invited to cap their offering at $30 per family. We have been called by Father Rodney to consider how we might use our time and talents to serve God at St. Matthew’s. There are many ministry opportunities that you might consider. We especially need help in the following areas: Outreach, Inreach, Welcome (Newcomers), Counters, Acolytes, Ushers, and Fellowship. Family Bingo Night (Online via Zoom!)

Spring Fest 2021
On Sunday, May 2nd, join us for SPRING FEST at St. Matthew’s! We’ll have a petting zoo, pony rides, a craft for children, live music from Barry’s Basement, fellowship and more!
St. Matthew’s will provide hamburgers (including veggie!) and hot dogs from our outdoor grill, along with all necessary paper products/utensils. We will also have a Kona Water Ice truck on-site from 1-2 p.m. for the event! Please bring your own drinks, and any other food items you desire for yourself and your family.
As with all in-person activities, masks, social distancing and check-in are all required! The check-in form can be completed online on the day of the event. The form will also be available onsite on May 2. We will have hand sanitizing products available, and the buildings will be open to access restrooms. Please feel free to bring chairs, blankets, etc. to claim an area to sit and relax.
TIME: Noon – 2 p.m.
COST: FREE
